Primary Purpose:

Responsible for assisting the PAC Manager/Auditorium Manager with running audio/visual equipment as well as backstage work if needed. This position requires working on select nights and weekends, as scheduled.
      MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES  

  • Help prepare the Performing Arts Center or Auditorium for outside entities performances by setting and focusing lights, setting up the sound system, programming lighting computer to ensure proper timing of lights.
  • Assist with the operation of sound, lighting and backstage equipment using computerized intelligent lighting systems.
  • Demonstrate regular and prompt attendance for scheduled events.
  • Able to work together with a group of people to provide a positive client experience.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

GENERAL QUALIFICATION GUIDELINES

Education/Certification/Experience:
  • Experience in technical theatre experience preferred
 
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  • Skill in lighting and sound equipment and working live events; organization; and attention to detail
  • Skill in lighting and sound equipment and working live events: organization, and attention to detail.
  • Skill in operating the fly system and the understanding of safety measures when they are operating.
  • Provide an exceptional customer experience that will ensure a positive experience for the client.
