Job Summary:
The Construction Site Superintendent is responsible for scheduling and coordinating all self-performed earthwork, roadwork, and related activities, overseeing field crews, and directing foremen to ensure optimal project flow. This role involves planning and scheduling labor, equipment, and materials to control costs and ensuring the project stays within budget while meeting assigned deadlines. The Site Superintendent is also responsible for maintaining, securing, and optimizing resources on-site, providing coaching and on-the-job training to crew members, and maintaining flexibility in working hours to achieve project goals. Additional duties may be assigned as required.

Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a management role with a Heavy/Highway contractor on projects under $100 million.
Physical Requirements: This field position requires regular sitting, handling objects, listening, and frequent reaching and grasping. Occasional standing, walking, stooping, and crouching are required, as well as the ability to lift up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities needed include close vision, distance vision, and depth perception. The work environment includes moderate to high noise levels typical of both office settings and active construction sites, and the ability to sit at a computer terminal for extended periods.
