Supply Chain Planning Specialist
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Planning Specialist to join a dynamic healthcare organization. Position Details:
Employment Type: Full-Time (Monday to Friday)
Hybrid Schedule: 3 days on-site, 2 days remote
Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM
Location: Warsaw, IN

Procurement & Supplier Management
- Oversee purchasing activities from end-to-end, ensuring timely procurement of materials that align with production needs and business goals.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and agreements to optimize costs, quality, and on-time delivery.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, ensuring clear communication, proactive issue resolution, and a commitment to excellence in customer service.
- Implement and execute MRP strategies, aligning material flow with production demands and operational goals.
- Monitor supplier performance, resolving issues and bottlenecks to ensure consistent supply chain continuity.
- Manage inventory levels, warehouse capacity, and material phase-in/phase-out processes to reduce excess and obsolete stock.
- Utilize SAP software for real-time inventory tracking, supplier performance monitoring, and demand forecasting.
- Work closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure seamless material flow and alignment with overall business objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance supply chain forecasting, mitigate risks, and optimize operational efficiencies.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and corporate policies, including industry-specific regulations like ITAR.
- Proven experience in procurement, material planning, or supply chain management, particularly in regulated manufacturing environments.
- Expertise in MRP systems, supplier negotiations, and contract management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to optimize supply chain processes and drive cost reduction.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to problem-solving and teamwork.
