**We are looking for someone with experience working with both UPS and FedEx in a leadership position**

Pay Rate: Negotiable - Depends on Experience
Schedule: 1st shift with a flexible start time between 6AM-7AM, Monday through Friday - must be able to work an occasional 3-4 hours on a Saturday

Job Overview:

As the Shipping and Receiving Supervisor, you will oversee all shipping and receiving operations, ensuring timely and accurate handling of materials and products. Your expertise in managing UPS and FedEx shipping processes is critical for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Shipping Operations:
    Manage daily shipping activities, including packaging, labeling, and processing orders through UPS, FedEx, and other carriers to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Receiving Operations:
    Supervise the receiving of incoming materials, inspecting shipments for accuracy and quality, and coordinating storage or distribution.
  • Team Leadership:
    Lead, train, and manage the shipping and receiving team, promoting a culture of efficiency and accountability.
  • Inventory Management:
    Work closely with the warehouse team to maintain accurate inventory records and support regular cycle counts.
  • Documentation & Compliance:
    Ensure all shipping and receiving documents, including bills of lading, packing lists, and invoices, are accurate and properly filed.
  • Customer & Vendor Coordination:
    Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and carriers to resolve shipping issues and meet customer requirements.
  • Process Improvement:
    Identify and implement process improvements to enhance shipping and receiving efficiency and reduce costs.
Qualifications:
  • Experience:
    • 3+ years of experience in shipping and receiving operations, with supervisory responsibilities.
    • Proven expertise in UPS and FedEx shipping systems, including software and logistics coordination.
  • Skills:
    • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and warehouse management software.
  • Knowledge:
    Familiarity with OSHA and workplace safety regulations.
  • Physical Requirements:
    Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a warehouse environment.
