Flexible Opportunity: We are offering a flexible 2-3 month assignment for a Recruitment Specialist at a non-profit organization in the OKC Metro area or Tulsa, with the potential to transition into a full-time role. This position involves a 20-hour work week within our office hours: Monday-Thursday, 9 am to 5 pm, and Friday, 9:00 am to 3:30 pm. Hybrid work options are available, and you will have the opportunity to engage with high-level donors and influential community members and pick your own hours within that time-frame.

What's a typical day as a Recruitment Specialist?
  • You'll be:Identifying and cultivating key community connections and corporate partnerships to enhance brand awareness and event participation.
  • Proactively recruiting, training, and inspiring constituents to effectively implement best practices for fundraising and event planning.
  • Developing and executing innovative community outreach activities that promote The Longest Day and the mission of the Alzheimer's Association.
  • Supporting and managing constituent-led events to ensure they achieve revenue goals and foster long-term relationships within the community.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
  • Have 3-5 years of experience in volunteer management, community outreach, or fundraising. Motivated candidates with less experience are also encouraged to apply.
  • Demonstrate proven ability to build sustainable relationships with corporate partners and community organizations.
  • Possess strong networking skills and a proactive approach to engaging new audiences.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Are able to work independently and are tech-savvy, particularly with Microsoft Office Suite.
