Job Description: Receptionist with HR Support
Location: Roanoke, TX
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
Salary: $20 per hour
Overview: We are seeking a reliable and proactive Receptionist to join our team at our warehouse and office facility in Roanoke, TX. The ideal candidate will have recent experience as a receptionist or administrative assistant, with a keen ability to manage front desk operations while also assisting with basic human resources functions.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Issue badges to visitors and ensure only authorized personnel have access to the building.
- Maintain a clean and organized lobby area, ensuring it remains presentable at all times.
- Answer and direct incoming calls on a multi-line phone system.
- Assist in creating and maintaining HR files and records.
- Provide administrative support to the HR department as needed.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
- Coordinate meeting room reservations and assist with setting up conference rooms.
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary.
- Handle general inquiries and direct them to the appropriate staff members.
- Assist with basic data entry and other administrative tasks as required.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Receptionist or Administrative Assistant, preferably in a warehouse or office setting.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with office equipment (e.g., printers, scanners).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in Office Administration are a plus.
