Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detailed-oriented individuals to join our Logistics Department as a Receiving Technician. This entry-level position entails unloading and palletizing containers, reviewing shipping quantities, verifying materials and batch numbers, and reporting any nonconforming materials.

Shift: 1st Shift. 
Pay: $18.00/Hr.

Key Responsibilities:

Receiving Incoming Containers: 

  • Review and verify shipping quantities and contents.
  • Identify exceptions such as over/under quantity, wrong vendor, or damaged goods.
  • Notify the department supervisor about nonconforming materials.
  • Prepare receiving labels and document pertinent information for inventory transfer.
  • Efficiently handle multiple truckloads per shift.
  • Proper utilization of all necessary equipment for order preparations.
Work Area Maintenance:
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment, manage empty skids, recycle boxes, and dispose of trash appropriately.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • 1-3 years of applicable job experience preferred.
  • Stand or walk for about 90% of the shift.
  • Lift and carry 5-40 pounds approximately 750 times a day.
  • Understand and follow instructions in English
  • Thoroughly inspect products for defects.
  • Accurately record production data.
  • Ability to retain item numbers and bin locations.
