Duration and Shift
l Job Duration: 9+ Month
l Shift: Monday-Friday 8:00 to 5:00 PM
Job Summary:
l At the direction of the Materials Supervisor and Sr. Warehouse team members this job will perform all aspects of ware-housing requirements for regarding the General Warehouse and Cold Storage, functioning as part of a high-performance work team.
Key Responsible:
l Follow all safety and environmental requirements in the performance of duties.
l Inventory Control of newly received components/materials to include receiving in ERP system and placing in correct locations.
l Fill material requests from internal customers including transacting of materials in ERP system.
l Maintain warehouse organization.
l Maintain general supplies in multiple storage areas.
l Assist with physical inventory to include cycle counts.
l Regular inspection of warehouse equipment.
l Maintain up to date training status.
l Incorporate the Way and 10 Essentials in all activities and interactions with others.Shift
Qualification:
l Education and Certifications: High school diploma or equivalent.
l Work Experience: 3-5 years applicable work experience for level II (for level I, requirement is 1-3 years)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
l Ability to read, write legibly, and understand all department documentation
l Ability to acquire an understanding of the risks inherent to the processing, handling and storage of hazardous materials.
l Basic math skills including knowledge of metric system.
l Computer experience including Microsoft Word, Excel.
l Ability to learn how to operate computerized inventory control systems to include SAP.
l Good written and verbal communication skills.
l Valid driver's license
l Good organizational skills.
l Ability to follow direction.
l Ability to be precise and maintain accurate records.
l Ability to adapt to GMP environment.
TOP 3 MUST HAVES:
l Ability to drive a box truck (move materials around the site) needs driver's license
l General warehouse work moving boxes, ability to lift and move
l Learn the SAP system, very important for some of the basic work
Physical Requirement:
l The ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, stand, and walk.
l The ability to push, pull, lift, finger, and grasp.
l The ability to speak, listen, and understand verbal and written communication.
l Repetition including substantial movement of wrists, hands, and or fingers.
l Lifting up to 33lbs/15kg of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
l Visual acuity to perform close activities such as: reading, writing, and analyzing; operating a motor vehicle or heavy equipment, and to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of work assigned or to make general observations.
l Ability to distinguish colors.
l Corrected vision to 20/30.
l The working environment includes a variety of physical conditions, working in narrow aisles, and temperature changes.
