Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality and Safety Technician to support our Quality and Safety Manager at our 3rd Party Logistics Warehouse, primarily serving the Automotive Supply Chain. This role is crucial in maintaining and continuously improving our Quality and Safety Management Systems. Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Management System and Occupational Health & Safety Management System Support:
    • Support ISO 9001:2015 certifications and ISO 45001 compliance.
    • Participate in and drive continuous improvement projects using Kaizen/Six Sigma methodologies.
    • Develop, write, and interpret implementation instructions.
    • Audit processes and complete required documentation.
    • Present status reports and briefings to higher-level management.
    • Participate in corrective actions, root cause analysis, and action plan development and execution.
    • Maintain and create procedures and controlled documentation.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge:
    • Expertise in quality assurance/control and risk management theories, principles, methodologies, and techniques, specifically ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2015.
    • Proficiency in MS Excel for data trending and reporting.
    • Strong understanding of safety practices.
  • Skills:
    • Exceptional communication skills for interacting with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
    • Strong project management skills.
  • Experience/Qualifications:
    • High School diploma or equivalent.
    • 3-5 years of experience in an ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 work environment.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
    • Bilingual in Spanish (preferred).
