Torrance, CA, | Temp to Hire | $20-23/hr |

Join Kelly Science and Clinical as a Quality Assurance Specialist 1 and play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our laboratory operations. This position offers the opportunity to work on special projects and support continuous improvement processes in a dynamic and regulated environment.

Position Duties:

• Review sample submission documentation for release to departments for testing.
• Inspect raw materials and laboratory supplies for compliance with COA and/or specifications.
• Facilitate receipt and release of DEA sample submissions.
• Review media and solution batch records and supporting raw data for accuracy and compliance.
• Report documentation discrepancies to QA Management and Department Management.
• Perform and document daily balance calibration verification and DI water monitoring.
• Support QA Analysts in conducting notebook and logbook audits.
• Support QA Analysts in reviewing analytical reports and supporting raw data for accuracy and compliance.
• Follow current SOPs and practice proper cGDP.
• Perform other duties as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences with one year of relevant experience in a clinical or quality-oriented role, preferably in an FDA-regulated industry.
• Knowledge of documentation functions within a cGMP or ISO regulated environment.
• Familiarity with electronic Document Control systems (e.g., CompliantPro) preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience using a LIMS type system, Crystal reports preferred.
