Summary: The Sales and Marketing Strategic Sourcing Category Manager will be responsible for supporting the Digital Marketing, Market Research and potentially other Sales and Marketing strategic sourcing category.
Roles and Responsibilities:
? Build category strategy approach, develop the initiative pipeline for the category including key negotiations and manage supplier performance for strategic suppliers.
? Develop and execute the category sourcing strategy, including influencing and aligning with the key business partners across the Global Marketing, Communications, and IT organization within SMG.
? Work effectively with business partners to understand their business and technical requirements and convey those requirements to potential and existing suppliers, as well as document these needs within the category strategic source plan.
? Develop supplier commercial engagements, including supplier selection, negotiation plans, contract negotiations, scopes of work, and ongoing execution/maintenance of the agreements.
? Manage Suppliers by developing and implementing initiatives with key suppliers to achieve cost, quality, availability, technology, and sustainability objectives.
? Monitor supplier performance and deliverables through business reviews and supplier report cards (where applicable), create and implement overall continuous improvement plans.
? Clear Communicator of both written and verbal information to all levels of management and across cross-functional teams.
? Able to navigate PPT, Excel, PowerBI, Teams, and SharePoint.
Minimum Qualifications:
•The candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or related field of study.
•3+ years of relevant experience in Supplier Management.
Preferred Qualifications:
•Master's degree (or equivalent) in Supply Chain or related field of study.
