Project Engineer 
1st Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Location: Powell, Ohio
Salary Range: $90,000 – $120,000

We are currently seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Project Engineer to support the planning, design, and management of vital public infrastructure projects. This is an exciting opportunity to directly impact the quality of life for residents by contributing to the development and upkeep of roads, bridges, stormwater systems, and more.

Position Overview:
Under the direction of the City Engineer, the Project Engineer will manage all aspects of infrastructure projects—from concept through construction. This includes technical analysis, site inspections, project oversight, contractor coordination, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, review, and manage construction plans, cost estimates, and specifications
  • Assist with the five-year Capital Improvement Program
  • Conduct studies and research to support infrastructure initiatives
  • Prepare and submit project grant applications
  • Respond to public inquiries and concerns
  • Provide technical support to various city departments
  • Update and maintain construction standards and specifications
  • Oversee consultants for drafting, surveying, and design work

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • 2–3 years of relevant engineering project management experience
  • Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Ohio
