Production Technician

Job Overview:
The Production Technician is responsible for operating and maintaining equipment and machinery in a production facility. This role involves troubleshooting and repairs, maintaining a clean workspace, and ensuring production targets and quality standards are met. This position requires a high level of attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.

Shift: 6am-4pm
Pay: $17.00+ per hr.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate, monitor, and maintain production machinery and equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure equipment operates efficiently and production goals are met.
  • Inspect and test finished products for quality compliance.
  • Follow safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Maintain accurate production records and logs.
  • Collaborate with other team members to meet production targets.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Assist with the setup and changeover of production lines.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certificates or associate degrees are a plus.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably as a technician.
  • Strong mechanical skills and ability to operate and maintain machinery.
  • Ability to read and understand technical manuals and blueprints.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, bend, and reach for extended periods.
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures and noise levels.
