Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $23.00-$27.00 per hour
Shift:  Monday – Thursday (3:30pm – 1:00am)

What's a typical day as a Production Supervisor? You'll be:
  • Selecting, training, motivating, and disciplining employees through various communication methods
  • Ensuring quality procedures are followed and conducting ongoing quality checks
  • Training employees on the safest ways to do their jobs and ensuring compliance with safety rules
  • Overseeing production schedules and ensuring machines are set up for efficient production
  • Accurately reporting production and labor activities
  • Monitoring production to minimize scrap and maintain efficiency standards
  • Assigning employees to specific machines for optimal results
  • Maintaining organization and housekeeping in the department
  • Ensuring preventive maintenance of machinery and tooling is completed
  • Enforcing the use of required safety equipment
  • Conducting employee performance appraisals and developing training and improvement plans
  • Maintaining accurate production control reports
  • Fostering good employer/employee relationships
  • Managing department supplies and employee time-card corrections and PTO

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
  • Have a Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Possess 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
  • Have strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems
  • Demonstrate excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Can work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Are familiar with quality control methods and tools
  • Can analyze data to make informed decisions
  • Have strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and production management software
  • Are able to work flexible hours and weekends as required by the production schedule
  • Have experience in Lean Manufacturing (preferred)
  • Can operate a forklift and handle physical requirements such as bending, lifting 60 pounds, and reading prints, work orders, and production schedules
