Kelly, in partnership with a rapidly growing leader in displays, is looking for a Production Manager in Statesville, NC.

In this role, you will play an integral part in building a brand-new site for our client. We are looking for someone who has a strong, people focused management style who has the ability to multi-task, create and maintain KPIs and coach a team to success.

This is a direct hire role, meaning you will be hired permanently with our client and offered their strong benefit package and vacation time upon hire.

Details:
  • 7:30 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Friday – currently a one shift operation!
Job Description:
  • Oversee all operations on the floor for assembly, collating, packing, and staging
  • Ensure a safe and neat work environment
  • Set daily targets for throughput, report agreed upon KPI's
  • Evaluate lines for efficiency and improvement
  • Responsible for assuring lines are staged and ready for operation every morning
  • Electronics display assembly experience a big plus with ability to troubleshoot problems and create solutions
  • Communicate directly with AM / PM's with production updates
  • Maintain and reconcile daily and weekly temp hours against jobs and invoicing
  • Able to multitask and run multiple jobs daily / weekly
  • Maintain system (Nulogy) integrity by properly issuing product to lines, reconciling and returning back to the warehouse.
Requirements:
  • Strong leadership abilities with at least five years of experience as a Production Manager or similar role.
  • System savvy – ability to learn new ERP system.
  • A background in corrugated manufacturing is preferred, but not required.
