Product Engineer

Are you a technically-minded individual with a passion for problem-solving?
We are seeking a talented Product Engineer I to join our ADM Product Engineering team in Mansfield, OH. This is a contract opportunity for a 6-month period with a potential for extension to a year or more, based on performance.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Product Compliance Support: Review existing designs for adherence to current standards, generate PCN's, and support JCAPP compliance.
- CAD Expertise: Utilize CREO modeling software and AutoCAD to create and update product drawings.
- Process Improvement: Participate in DFMEA/PFMEA and support cost reduction activities on new and existing products.
- Technical Support: Provide assistance to internal and external stakeholders, including Manufacturing, Quality, Product/Project Managers, and customers.
- Data Management: Utilize MRP SAP system, PDMLink, and CPR to manage BOMs, generate engineering bills of materials, and enter TE part numbers.
- Documentation: Contribute to the development of technical documents and generate interim change management forms for review.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 0-2 years of experience working as a technical administrator in an industrial operation, including electrical and mechanical, with demonstrated success in sustaining efforts.
- Proficiency in CREO, AutoCAD, and other CAD tools.
- Strong knowledge of MRP SAP systems, databases, and data management software.
- Experience with MS products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook), and Adobe Acrobat.
