Job Title: Process Controls Technician Location: Havre De Grace, MD
Full Time / Direct Hire : $38.47 / hr (negotiable) Responsibilities: Maintenance & Operations:
- Perform routine maintenance work according to standard methods and procedures.
- Carry out non-routine maintenance with varying degrees of supervision.
- Work from written instructions, specifications, prints, drawings, and samples.
- Maintain responsibility for company tools, equipment, and materials.
- Ensure work areas are kept clean and orderly.
- Handle and operate a wide variety of manufacturing plant equipment, including both typical plant auxiliary equipment and specialized production machinery.
- Evaluate and report unusual situations to supervision.
- Education: Associates Degree preferred, applicable trade school certification, or honorable military discharge. Advanced certification or license in a skilled trades area is a plus.
- Experience:
- 5 years in programming, debugging, and repairing PLC devices.
- 7+ years working on industrial electrical systems.
- Broad knowledge in electric controls, and some knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic machinery, controls, and critical instrumentation.
- Knowledge of controllers/control systems, PLCs, high voltage 3-phase electrical operation is preferred.
- PLC troubleshooting experience, particularly with Allen Bradley controls.
- Availability: Willingness to provide on-call off-shift support for plant operations as needed and to work 1st shift (6:30 am - 2:30 pm) and 2nd shift (2:30 pm - 10:30 pm) during/after a probationary/training period.
- Safety Attitude: Positive attitude toward safety and adherence to strict safety procedures.
- Salary: Starting at $38.47 per hour (subject to individual candidate factors).
- Additional Compensation: Includes bonus and/or other incentives.

- Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, and convert in all units of measure. Compute rate, ratio, and percent. Interpret graphs.
- Reasoning Ability: Understand and carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form. Deal with problems involving several variables.
- Physical Demands: Frequent requirements to stand, kneel, walk, stoop, climb, crouch, push, pull, carry, and use ladders and stairs. Frequent use of hands and arms. Ability to lift 55 lbs regularly and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
