Kelly Science has an Immediate opening for an overnight Pharmacy Technician I  for our growing client in Cleveland, OH
Hours: 2am-10am
Pay: $21-$25/hr

Overview:

As a Pharmacy Technician I, you'll play a critical role in providing essential radiopharmaceuticals to healthcare professionals, directly supporting patient care. In this role, you'll be working under the supervision of an authorized Nuclear Pharmacist, in a clean room environment, with exposure to radiation as part of your daily responsibilities. What You'll Do:

  • Compounding & Dispensing: Perform duties related to the preparation, compounding, and distribution of FDG and NaF radiopharmaceuticals. You'll be responsible for managing daily reports, dose tracking, and ensuring accurate data entry.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with key pharmaceutical regulations, including USP <797>, <823>, <825>, and state-specific pharmacy laws. Adhere to the highest standards in radiation safety, aseptic operations, and cleanliness in the workplace.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to physicians, healthcare workers, and other stakeholders, ensuring all customer orders and inquiries are handled professionally and promptly.
  • Inventory Management: Take charge of inventory control, maintaining production supplies, and ensuring materials are accepted and reported according to SOPs.
  • Team Collaboration: Be an active participant in meetings, ensuring communication is smooth, and assisting in maintaining high-quality standards across all operations.
  • Environmental Monitoring & Cleaning: Perform routine monitoring and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and sterile work environment in compliance with corporate and regulatory standards.

What You Bring:

  • Education: High school diploma is required. An associate degree in chemistry, engineering, or natural sciences is preferred.
  • Licensure & Certification: Pharmacy Technician Licensure or Certification as required by state law.
  • Experience: Experience with sterile compounding and aseptic operations is a plus, though not required.
  • Skills: Proficiency with MS Office Suite and the ability to use technology effectively.
  • Availability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends.
  • Attention to Detail: You're highly organized and can maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team Player: You work well with others, communicating effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or move around for extended periods.
