Kelly® Science & Clinical is seeking a Clinical Research Patient Recruiter for an ongoing, temporary position (with potential to extend/covert) at a leading client in Kansas City, MO. Pay Rate: 
$25-30/Hour (commensurate with experience)

Overview:
The patient recruiter is responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing recruitment programs to successfully meet targeted enrollment goals for study protocols and enroll appropriate subjects in protocols.

Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 1st/Day: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Responsibilities:
•    Learn and maintain a high level of knowledge regarding protocol elements including inclusion and exclusion criteria.
•    Inform patients or caregivers about study opportunities.
•    Assess eligibility of potential subjects through methods such as screening interviews, reviews of medical records, or discussions with physicians and nurses.
•    Determine staff availability for study visits and organize electronic calendar system.
•    Schedule subjects for appointments, procedures, or inpatient stays as required by study protocols.
•    Track contact status of subjects and document information such as subject contact efforts.
•    Confer with health care professionals to determine the best recruitment practices for studies.
•    Develop call scripts and other informational materials to be used in subject recruitment.
•    Maintain multiple patient databases with updated contact information and patient notes (CTMS, 3rd party portals).
•    Complete regularly scheduled logs for studies to document call attempts.
•    Participate in continuing education activities or attend conferences and seminars to maintain current knowledge of recruitment affairs and issues.
•    Perform all other duties that may be requested or assigned.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
•    A high school diploma, or equivalent, and a minimum of 1 year experience in a medical or clinical research environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is required.
•    Experience with calendar management/scheduling is required.
•    MA, CNA, LPN/LVN, EMT or other medical license is preferred.
•    Clinical trial management system experience is preferred.
Required Skills:
•    Proficiency with computer applications such as email, electronic health records, and basic applications.
•    Must possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and have basic math proficiency.
•    Well?developed written and verbal communication skills.  Bi?lingual (English/Spanish) proficiency is highly preferred.
•    Well?developed interpersonal and listening skills and the ability to work well independently as well as with co?workers, subjects, managers, and external customers.
•    Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks and adapt to changes in workloads and priorities.
•    Ability to be professional, respectful of others, self?motivated, and exemplify a strong work ethic.
•    Must possess a high degree of integrity and dependability.
•    Ability to work under minimal supervision, identify problems and implement solutions.
•    Ability to handle highly sensitive information in a confidential and professional manner, and in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
