Description

Kelly is currently seeking an experienced Non-Metal Inspector to join a long-term team in Freeport, Texas! The Non-Metal Inspector will perform non-metal inspection activities related with FRP (Fiber-Reinforced Plastic), coating & lining to achieve the GMISS compliance and company standards with safe operations and cost-effective manners.

DAILY TAKS MAY INCLUDE:

  • Develop and / or review all inspection reports related with FRP (Fiber-Reinforced Plastic), coating & lining for the completeness meet with professional standard and quality.
  • Deploy technologies and innovation to support inspection and repair activities in the areas
  • Complete repair plans and provide technical input in completing Quality Control (QC) Plans with Plant Assessment Team (PAT)
  • Deliver quality assurance for the repairs related with FRP (Fiber-Reinforced Plastic), coating & lining
  • Participate in defining and recommending repair path for deficiency resolution
  • Participate in Turnaround (TA) job and schedule review, resource planning and execution
  • Provide technical support to the responsible area audits and assessment
  • Provide technical support and solution / troubleshooting related with FRP, coating & lining
  • Work cooperatively with others in the other functions, Zone Maintenance, Operations and the external suppliers.
  • Perform on-site and / or shop inspections in person to assure the equipment integrity.
  • Review all inspection reports, assist with resolving any NCR's, QSPP's and / or technical issues.
  • Process deficiencies, update and send to fixed equipment functional mailbox
  • Update inspection and repair status to the stakeholders

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the non-metal technology inspection and repairs including FRP, Coating & lining
  • Very good knowledge on the international standards for refining and petrochemical businesses related with FRP, Coating and Lining
  • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field and ability to rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
  • In-depth problem-solving ability and good communication skills
  • As a minimum, certified NACE CIP Level I or above preferred.
