Job Title: Operator, Metal and Alloy Production
Location: Ft. Worth, Texas

POSITION OVERVIEW:

This role offers a unique opportunity to be involved in the early stages of an exciting greenfield advanced manufacturing facility. The facility will include a range of chemical, mechanical, and thermal processes, with the metal and alloy casting department utilizing equipment like molten metal electrolysis, vacuum casting, and related material handling systems.

Shift Details:
Following the start of production, the Production Operator will be assigned to a specific shift with a 4 days on, 3 days off, 3 days on, 4 days off schedule. Prior to production, operators will participate in piloting activities to familiarize themselves with the processes. Some travel, including potential extended trips, may be required for piloting activities at off-site locations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
  • Perform daily inspections of equipment and work areas.
  • Prepare materials and set up equipment following established recipes and work instructions.
  • Safely operate mobile and material handling equipment.
  • Monitor and operate molten metal processing and vacuum casting equipment.
  • Adjust equipment and process parameters as needed to ensure consistent product quality and productivity.
  • Document and report production data accurately.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Follow all safety protocols and comply with mandatory requirements, regulations, and policies.
  • Wear and maintain required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Participate actively in continuous improvement activities such as Kaizen events.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in foundry work, hot metal processing, or related molten metal operations.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent housekeeping practices.
  • Basic computer skills, including data entry into ERP systems and proficiency in Excel.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
