Logistics Specialist - Job Title: Shipping Coordinator Position Overview: The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and facilitating the shipping process within the organization. This role includes coordinating shipments, maintaining shipping records, and ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and accurate delivery of products. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and schedule shipments with carriers and customers. Prepare shipping documents such as bills of lading, packing lists, and invoices. Track and monitor shipments to ensure timely and accurate delivery. Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and customers regarding shipment status and issues. Maintain records of all shipments, including costs, delivery times, and any issues encountered. Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and company policies. Resolve any issues related to shipping delays, damages, or discrepancies. Collaborate with warehouse staff and other departments to optimize shipping operations. Qualifications: Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or a related role. Knowledge of shipping regulations, documentation, and procedures. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Working Conditions: Primarily an office setting with regular interaction with the warehouse.
Salary: $21 - $25/hour Schedule: Monday Friday 8:30am 5:00pm. Temp - Hire
