Description

We're seeking a Human Resources Assistant to work at a premier finance company in Stamford, CT. This opportunity could be the one you've been looking for.

Pay Rate: $30/hr
Duration: ~3 months (parental leave coverage)
Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
Remote: Mondays and Friday's

What's a typical day as Human Resources Assistant? You'll be:
  • Serving as a Benefit Administrator for the US and Canada
  • Administering the Canada pension plan
  • Providing support on open enrollment, audit queries, benefits orientation, and reporting as required
  • Processing new hires, employee changes, and terminations within the HRIS system SuccessFactors for Canada
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and state laws pertaining to benefit plans
  • Educating employees on benefits and promoting employee wellness programs
  • Handling general HR inquiries and administrative requests
  • Assisting and supporting all onboarding activities including preparing offer letters and background checks
  • Supporting the HR Geographical Partners with employee relations
  • Acting as a central point of contact and liaison across HR Business Partners and HR Operations teams for key projects and annual HR processes
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
  • Have a minimum of 5 years' experience in HR
  • Possess broad knowledge of HR processes and operations
  • Are experienced with working with an HRIS system, preferably SuccessFactors
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels
  • Are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including using formulas, VLOOKUP, and Pivot Tables in Excel
