Event Planner (A/V Specialist) - NYC

 

Location: New York, NY (Onsite Only) 
Duration: April 7, 2025 – October 6, 2025 
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week 

 

Role Overview: 
Join Kelly Services on a temporary role as an Event Planner (A/V Specialist) to oversee A/V support for live events, including press conferences, corporate meetings, and more. You'll work with event planners to ensure smooth A/V operations, troubleshoot issues, and maintain equipment during events. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Set up, break down, and support A/V operations for live events. 

  • Maintain A/V infrastructure and troubleshoot issues. 

  • Coordinate with planners and contractors for event coverage. 

  • Manage the A/V control room and ensure proper equipment operation. 

  • Support meetings and conferences, and recommend system upgrades when needed. 

Requirements: 

  • 5-10 years of A/V support experience for live events. 

  • Strong knowledge of A/V equipment and troubleshooting. 

  • Ability to manage multiple events and communicate effectively. 

  • Experience with event planning and A/V system maintenance.
