Engraver (Temp-to-Perm) – $18.50/hr

Location: Attleboro, MA
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:45 PM
Hourly Rate: $18.50

About Us

Our client is a premier manufacturer specializing in intricate engraving on various surfaces, including metal, glass, and plastic. We are seeking a detail-oriented Engraver to join our manufacturing team. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with potential for long-term growth.

Job Summary

As an Engraver, you will be responsible for incising intricate designs, text, and patterns onto a variety of materials using engraving machines and hand tools. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and adherence to company quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate engraving machines to etch letters, designs, and figures onto products such as badges, trophies, and jewelry.

• Set up and secure workpieces in the machine, positioning the stylus for accurate engraving.

• Follow design layouts, sketches, or sample pieces to engrave detailed artwork.

• Perform finishing work, including polishing and repairing minor defects.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment while following company policies and safety standards.

• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and quality standards.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.

• Experience: Minimum 1+ years of engraving experience preferred.

• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.

• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP systems.

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

• Must pass all required background checks.

• Ability to work overtime, including weekends, when needed.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods while operating engraving equipment.

• Manual dexterity to handle engraving tools and small workpieces.

• Occasionally required to lift and carry objects up to 30 lbs.

• Exposure to moderate levels of heat, dust, and noise in a manufacturing setting.

• Compliance with all personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety procedures.
