Job Title: Enamel Utility 1 (Hard Enamel/Epoxy Plastic Charger)
Department: Enamel
Location: Attleboro, MA
Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:45 PM

Position Summary

The Enamel Utility 1 plays a crucial role in the enameling department, efficiently performing a variety of enamel operations as directed by the department supervisor. This role requires attention to detail, excellent hand-eye coordination, and the ability to maintain high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete Sanding operations efficiently.
  • Perform Bright Boy operations effectively.
  • Execute Pumicing operations with precision.
  • Conduct Sorting operations using the latest methods established by management.
Qualifications Required:
  • High school diploma or GED (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Strong hand-eye coordination.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in reading work tickets and demonstrating good written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
  • Previous experience in enamel-related operations.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements Physical Demands:
  • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods.
  • Regular use of hands and arms to operate tools and equipment.
  • Occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
  • Ability to lift and/or carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds.
Mental & Visual Demands:
  • Routine and consistent work requiring continuous visual focus for extended periods.
Work Environment:
  • Exposure to minor heat, dust, or other factors of inconvenience.
  • Compliance with PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and safety protocols is required.
  • Occasional exposure to hazards requiring adherence to safety procedures.
