Job Overview:
As an Electrical Designer, you will design components, systems, and mechanical packaging for electrical systems. You will specify layouts, materials, and procedures to implement new electrical systems, enhance manufacturing operations, and improve product quality. This role includes creating models and documenting electrical components and cabling.
Work Site: This is an on-site role based in El Dorado Hills, CA
Compensation:
- Salary: $85,000 to $95,000 annually, depending on experience

- Immediate medical coverage upon hire.
- Design and document new cabling spanning multiple subsystems and electrical enclosures.
- Design and document modifications for existing electrical systems and cabling.
- Independently design and document electrical and cabling details based on guidelines from the Electrical Engineering team.
- Determine the optimal distribution of electrical components and cabling between subsystems and enclosures as directed by the Electrical and Mechanical Engineering teams.
- Conduct design and documentation tasks with minimal direction from the Engineering team.
- Prepare and present documents for review by project stakeholders, including online presentations.
- Perform other duties as needed or assigned.
- Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Certification or relevant experience in mechanical design, electronics, power distribution, and cable design.
- Certification or relevant experience in documentation practices for mechanical and electrical systems.
