As a Controls Engineer specializing in Asphalt & Concrete Batching Equipment Integration, you will oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of asphalt batching equipment at customer sites. With expertise in industrial automation, control systems, and PLC programming, you'll ensure optimal equipment performance.
How You'll Succeed:
- Installation & Configuration: Install, configure, and calibrate asphalt batching equipment on customer sites, ensuring it meets specifications and functions at optimal levels.
- System Diagnostics & Repairs: Perform diagnostics and repairs on batching systems to maximize efficiency and address performance issues.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineers and clients to customize equipment settings based on specific site requirements.
- PLC Programming & Troubleshooting: Program, troubleshoot, and maintain PLC systems (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar) that control industrial equipment.
- Training & Technical Support: Provide technical support and train customers on equipment operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance best practices.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure all installations and maintenance procedures comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of installations, configurations, and system modifications.
- Continuous Improvement: Suggest and implement techniques to enhance system robustness and improve equipment performance.
What You Bring:
- Design & Product Development: Participate in design reviews and product development when necessary.
- Communication Skills: Effectively communicate with internal teams and customers regarding technical designs, changes, and requirements.
- Technical Understanding: Read, interpret, and discuss technical drawings, plans, and articles to ensure proper execution of projects.
- Experience & Expertise: Hands-on experience with asphalt batching equipment, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- PLC Proficiency: Ability to write, modify, and troubleshoot PLC code (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.) for industrial systems.
- Electrical Systems Knowledge: Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems and machinery.
- Problem Solving & Troubleshooting: Proven ability to identify issues and resolve them using strong analytical skills.
- Attention to Detail: Highly detail-oriented with excellent communication and organizational skills.
