Job Title: Color Print Production Specialist
Seattle, WA
$22/hr-$24/hr DOE


Job Summary:
As a Color Print Production Specialist. In this role, you will support our Large Format Color Department by processing color, wide format print work using large format printers. You will be responsible for overseeing color production, job preparation, submission, and workflow tasks. If you have experience in color printing, reprographics, and graphics projects, this is an excellent opportunity for you. Job Specifications:
- Job Type: Temporary (with the possibility of conversion to employee status after 6 months)
- Location: Seattle, WA
- Pay Rate: $24 to $26 per hour DOE
- Shift: Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm or so


Roles and Responsibilities:
- Study production schedule and estimate hour requirements for job assignments.
- Receive, process, and maintain orders for wide format printers.
- Prioritize work assignments based on customer needs, workload, and machine capabilities.
- Print proofs for sign-off and make suggestions regarding substrate and finishing options.
- Process PDF and graphics files from various sources.
- Ensure all required resources are available to complete jobs.
- Troubleshoot problems during job submission or the printing process.
- Inspect finished work for quality and make adjustments as needed.
- Address problematic orders and customer complaints.
- Perform minor maintenance functions and keep the work area stocked with supplies.
- Provide excellent customer service to maintain current accounts and enhance the company's image.
- Complete paperwork for the billing process and gather completed work for delivery.
- Assist in other departments when necessary.
- Maintain a courteous and "can-do" attitude with internal and external customers.
- Abide by all company rules and regulations.

Qualifications & Skills:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience in the color reprographics field in a professional environment.
- 1-2 years of direct experience in color services and design (signage, posters, projects, etc.).
- Thorough knowledge of materials and equipment used in color printing, duplicating, binding, and finishing.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft products.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Working knowledge of Adobe, Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and maneuver large pieces of media.
- Focus on delivering quality work.
