Kelly, in partnership with a rapidly growing mechanical professional services company, is looking for a Chiller Services Manager in North Central New Jersey.
This is a direct hire role meaning you will be hired permanently by our client and offered their strong benefits upon hire!
Are you part of the union and have experience with high tonnage chillers, high pressure steam turbines, absorbers and water- and air-cooled chillers? Are you a strong leader who is big on coaching and training their employees and wants the opportunity to earn over $200,000 annually?

Details:
- Compensation potential is $200,000 annually
- Typical work hours are 7:00 am to 4:00 pm
- Lots of overtime available during peak summertime season, on call every few months.
- Already in a union
- Five+ years of HVAC experience and three+ years with Chillers
- HVAC license, EPA certification, CIRO, CARO, OSHA 10, OSHA 30 and Refrigeration certification
- Strong leader with good judgement, a coach and mentor.
You will lead a team of Chiller Technicians, potentially adding more to your team in the future as this client continues to grow! This role will begin as a very hands-on role, in the field with your team, and will eventually lead to a hybrid role where half of your time will be spent in the office and the other half in the field.
- Face to face communication with clients and direct reports
- Provide technical support, manage and train the Chiller Team as needed and facilitate knowledge transfer when applicable with internal and external teams
- Main escalation point for technical issues for the field and to corporate office
- Ensure Team properly completes all required projects, warranty and service documentation
- Oversee preventive maintenance, repair, installation and replacement of associated chiller equipment control systems and HVAC as needed
