What's a typical day as a Purchasing Buyer? You'll be:
- Reviewing stock material in the warehouse for order placement and replacement, ensuring optimal inventory levels.
- Verifying and counting stock in warehouse locations for work order changes and performing bi-annual inventory as needed.
- Utilizing the purchasing dashboard (MRP) for planning and placing purchase orders to vendors, while recommending changes to min-max levels to support production needs.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in purchasing or inventory management; a degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field is preferred.
- Possess strong analytical skills and attention to detail to evaluate vendor performance and manage stock levels effectively.
- Are proficient in using MRP systems and have excellent communication skills to liaise with vendors, customers, and internal departments.
