What's a typical day as an Auditing Clerk?
  • Posting payments and charges to patients' accounts 
  • Collecting and posting payments (cash, check, MasterCard, and Visa).
  • Verifying and entering payment information from cash slips
  • Reviewing patient accounts for financial accuracy
  • Verifying insurance coverage and calculating discount
  • Performing data entry and maintaining financial records.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
  • Have 2 or more years of work experience in a general office or customer service field with some cash-handling experience
  • Have experience with medical data entry, Excel, and Microsoft Office in a network environment
  • Have good communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Understand the importance of confidentiality and practice it.
  • Are a self-starter and can work with minimal supervision.
