Agriscience Operations Manager
Kelly Outsourcing Consulting Group Kelly OCG, a managed solution provider and business unit of Kelly Services, Inc., is currently seeking an Agriscience Operations Manager for a long-term engagement at one of our Global agriculture clients in Indianapolis, IN. This role is a full-time, fully benefited position. As a Kelly OCG employee, you will be eligible for Medical, Dental, 401K and paid time off, including holiday, vacation and sick/personal time.

Schedule: 8AM-5PM, Monday-Friday
Compensation: $30-34/hr

Responsibilities:

  • Plans, coordinates and monitors the work and schedules of the program.
  • Ensures watering is following consistent schedule
  • Provides guidance and direction to employees in the resolution of daily problems and issues-interfacing with the customer and Kelly Senior Leadership
  • Familiarizes employees with established Kelly organization procedures, rules and regulations. 
  • Approve hours worked and PTO for all employees in the assigned program
  • Responsible for performance reviews and staff HR issues
  • Interface with customer representatives and management
  • Responsible for monthly Kelly Quality reports to customer and Kell Senior Leadership, if applicable
  • Responsible to validate invoices monthly
  • Continuously improve customer satisfaction
  • Technical duties, refer to Greenhouse Technician job description
  • Train and Development of Greenhouse Technicians
  • Daily Greenhouse walkthrough/team completing tasks efficiently
  • Ensure team maintains floors with safe working conditions (Free of debris and algae build up)
  • Able to perform pesticide applications and train on pesticide applicators
  • Able to communicate and relay Lead Grower/Researcher needs to Kelly team



QUALIFICATIONS: 
Required:
  • 5+yrs of industry experience in horticulture or agriculture
  • Good Organizational skills
  • Must be able to prioritize and make quick decisions
  • Knowledge of data collection practices
  • Ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
  • Computer literacy required in Microsoft Office Products such as Work, Excel, Outlook and SharePoint.
Preferred:
  • AS or BS in Agriscience or Horticulture
