Administrative Assistant II - DEI Admin/Event Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant II to support the Senior Vice President of the Commercial Group in our company. This is a long-term contract position with flexibility in terms of work schedule and location, including the possibility of remote work. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide administrative support to the SVP and assist with coordinating Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives and events. The successful candidate will have excellent organizational and time management skills, as well as strong attention to detail.

Job Specifications:
- Job Type: Long-term contract
- Location: Keene, NH –
Pay Rate: High $27-29/hour   (open to negotiation based on experience)
- Shift: Flexible

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Senior Vice President of the Commercial Group
- Coordinate and assist with DEI initiatives and events
- Assist in planning and organizing virtual and in-person meetings, charity events, and recognition activities
- Ensure efficient project coordination and timely execution of plans
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Handle correspondence and communication on behalf of the SVP
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and effective communication

Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an administrative role
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Proactive problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in event coordination is a plus
