Accountant – Bookkeeper
Parttime – 20 hour per week
Onsite in Doral Florida 
Salary - $30- $40 per hour

Job Description
Seeking a highly motivated Accountant/Bookkeeper to join client's team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of accounting activities, including preparing and maintaining financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP, managing day-to-day accounting tasks, and supporting year-end audits.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare estimates and deposit invoices.
  • Prepare and maintain financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP.
  • Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing.
  • Utilize QuickBooks for financial reporting, data entry, and account reconciliation.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses.
  • Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Support year-end audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations to auditors.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve processes and systems within the accounting department.
  • Prepare financial reports
  • Organize and maintain financial records and documentation
  • Identify and implement process improvements for bookkeeping systems and procedures.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum of 4+ years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
