Certification Details

• AHA only (Instructor or Provider); RQI accepted
• National Certification/Verification required as applicable
• Required annually: HIPAA Safety Manual Acknowledgement
• Primary Source Verification: State License 1 Verification
• NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP)
• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam
• Competency Exam

Job Details
• Must start between Nov 11 - Dec 11
• 36 or 48 hour weeks OK
• 8 Week Assignment
• No Holiday RTO - Must be willing to work the Holidays: Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, & New Years Day
• Floating Required
• Traveler must live 100 miles from the facility
• General orientation will begin on Sundays. Sunday will be online CBLs. Can start any Sunday after completion of compliance documents.

Job Requirements
• 1 years of experience
• Accepts 1st time travelers
• AHA BLS/AHA ACLS/NIH

Schedule Information
• Hospital can cancel/call off one shift biweekly without a financial penalty from the employed 36/36 or 36/48 schedule (use whichever is appropriate for the employment agreement) if there is a decrease in census.
• Additional shifts picked up above the work commitment as additional overtime shifts will be flexed as needed for hospital census decrease/decreased resource need without penalty.

Unit Specific Information
• Includes supporting clinical education of nursing students.

Additional Details
• Contract RN/LPN team members are expected to actively participate in nursing student support and clinical education as we prepare future nurses for the profession.
• The clinical nursing student education responsibility is expected in addition to/alongside the provision of clinical care practice in every nursing specialty at Ballad Health.
