We have an immediate opportunity for an IT Operations Manager to join our team working on-site in Mount Laurel, NJ. This is a full-time salaried position, with great benefits, working on a fantastic team who support the most popular sports and entertainment league on the planet. 

Required: MUST have 5-10 years of experience in IT Operations management in an enterprise infrastructure environment. This position requires candidates to work on weekends and holidays.

Location: Onsite in Mount Laurel, New Jersey.

Salary Range 150K-170K

Primary Role and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the IT Operations department to ensure the functionality, availability, and security of company systems, data, backups, and communications
  • Owns the incident management process & severity ticket management process ensuring incidents are properly tracked, updated, and resolved.
  • Provides status reports to leadership on a weekly & monthly basis
  • Developing and implementing policies, procedures, and processes to improve IT operations and increase efficiency and productivity
  • Ensuring that the organization's IT policies and procedures are up to date and compliant with industry standards and company regulations and following best practices
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to improve proprietary tools and systems
  • Builds knowledge base articles & standard operating procedures
  • Proactively support the IT Ops team to assist in the resolution of escalated issues and problems raised by other technicians and support agents
  • Q/As all operations staff daily reports/checks
  • Managing staff schedules, time off requests, and ensuring adequate coverage across all 3 locations 24/7x365
  • Responsible for meeting minutes & notes
  • Responsible for reporting on SLAs/SLOs
  • Delivers reports to senior level management & executives

Required Skills and Experience:
  • Has a working knowledge of Data Center facilities equipment
  • Thorough knowledge of networks and cloud computing
  • Advanced understanding of OSI model
  • Technical proficiency and knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, and systems to effectively manage and troubleshoot issues
  • Event correlation platforms and ticketing systems such as Service Now
  • Knowledge of product platforms such as Cisco, Palo Alto, Arista, and Open Gear
  • NMS network monitoring solutions such as SolarWinds, Datadog, Cisco DNA Center, Logic Monitor, etc.
  • Remediation of security threats and vulnerabilities
  • Network administration (Cisco certification a plus)
  • Managing on-premises servers, storage area networks (SAN), and network-attached storage (NAS) devices
  • Installation, configuration, troubleshooting and life cycle management of physical and virtual servers. (e.g. Windows, Linux, VMware)
  • Familiarity with our software platforms including Microsoft 365 (e.g., Power BI), AWS, and Azure Cloud
  • Enterprise Backup, Replication and Business Continuity and Disaster recover mitigation and response
  • Able to create and present executive dashboard reports showcasing environmental health, including KPIs and SLAs
  • Strong leadership skills to effectively manage a team of IT professionals and drive performance
  • Reports on monthly SOP execution & status for SLOs
  • Coordinates maintenance activities with technology support vendors
  • Has the ability to work independently & prioritize issues based on criticality
  • Demonstrates excellent teamwork & communication
  • Strong quantitative/technical background
