    Certification Details
  • AHA ONLY. RQI is acceptable for ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP certifications.
  • CCS: Please check the cost center to verify what certifications are required. If the cost center is blank, please reach out to system leads.
  • Valid Driver's License or Passport accepted. Must be clear copy.
  • HIPAA Acknowledgement required.
  • Online Verification of License to include expiration date and any disciplinary actions (within 30 days before start date), must be through primary source IN.gov.
  • Medication Test/Pharmacology exam required.
  • Unit competency exam required.
  • Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam required for some positions.
  • Look of Assurance packet must be sent to all candidates
  • Complete facility-specific forms as a priority
  • Proof of valid auto insurance required for some specialists
  • Personal or Auto Insurance requirements
  • IU Health – Mandatory RRT Modules required for RRT candidates
  • Online Color Blind Testing must score 100%
    Job Details
  • Effective 11/30/24, IU Health will not allow IN RN's to work at their facilities (SEE EXCEPTIONS BELOW). The last day for IN RNs to start a NEW contract is 9/9 (allows them to finish a contract by 11/30).
  • **Periop/OR RN's, Allied and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule. These IN travelers are allowed to work past the 11/30 deadline. Periop includes ENDO, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, SDS**
  • Prescreening question: This is a CVPICU unit that is willing to take PICU RNs as long as they are comfortable with training CVPICU. Is your traveler comfortable with this?
  • Locals not accepted.
  • IU Health is now offering charge pay, which is a $3.00 bill rate bump per hour
  • Will accept PICU RN and train on CVPICU
  • Staffing Ratios: 1:1-2
