What are we looking for?
The Additives Technical Salesperson is responsible for Sales and Business Development in identifing and targeting potential clients within the oil and gas sector and trading companies, build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to ensure long-term partnerships, generate and execute a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed revenue targets, forecasting additive demand with vendors to ensure readily available additive. This position will travel at least 50% of the time.
Salary & Benefits Information
Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. Sales commissions will be included with this position.

What you'll do:
Sales and Business Development:
- Identify and target potential clients within the oil and gas sector and trading companies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to ensure long-term partnerships.
- Generate and execute a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Forecasting additive demand with vendors to ensure readily available additive.
Product Expertise and Presentation:
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the company's chemical and additive product lines as well as operational capabilities.
- Provide technical guidance to customers, helping them select products that meet their specific requirements.
- Provide additization quotations to clients, based on total job costs, and expected profit margin.
- Conduct presentations and demonstrations to showcase product capabilities and benefits.
Quality Assurance:
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team(s) to ensure all products meet customer specifications and regulatory standards after additization.
- Address and resolve any quality concerns raised by customers promptly, and how they will be resolved.
Market Research and Analysis:
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new opportunities and potential challenges.
- Gather customer feedback and relay it to the product development team for continuous improvement.
Administrative Duties:
- Prepare and deliver accurate sales forecasts, reports, and customer updates to management.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, contracts, and agreements using CRM tools

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2 to 5+ years of sales experience in the additive/chemical industry
- Ability to travel 50% of the time
- Valid driver's license and reliable driving record are required
- This is a remote position; however, applicants must provide documentation that shows proof of eligibility to work in the United States
Preferred Requirements & Qualifications:
- Chemical Engineering or Chemistry Degree
- Additive Cargo Treatment Experience
