Description
Responsibilities: Lead team to conduct equipment and system training on an as needed basis for new and existing associates • Track and assist in new hire communications, roundtable discussions and the evaluation process until associate is qualified • Assist with administration of training management system to include: recording, auditing, and conducting training • Assist with the development and implementation of training materials and programs • Observe and check in with new hires to ensure acclimation to equipment within environment • Manage a team of hourly trainers (one on each shift) • Lead safety committee and drive safety initiatives across plants • Manage master document system for operational work instructions, SOPs, and job hazard analysis • Work with production equipment manufacturers to ensure processes and reflect recommended operating procedures • Work with production systems manufacturers to combine provided training materials into training • 25% travel to other locations • Other duties as assigned • Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed. • Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate. • Other duties as assigned. Benefits: * Medical, Dental, Vision (1 day of the next month of hire) (Options available) * 401K with matching program * STD, LTD * Vacation and sick time Salary 77k-92k Based on Experience * Identifying risk and making recommendations to eliminate or mitigate risk • Ensuring Policies/ Procedures are in compliance with Regulatory / Statutory requirements • Identifying, developing, and publishing reports necessary to track appropriate measurements • Conducting audits to identify potential risks, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies • Reviewing and interpreting regulatory requirements related to security and safety; monitoring changes; implementing system controls to ensure compliance • Scheduling and Managing Safety Training Locally • Experience training or mentoring in manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred • Experience with Lock Out Tag Out process implementation and controls preferred • Experience documenting processes and identifying best practices to develop training program • Familiar with common material handling equipment and systems including forklifts, conveyors, balers, scales, etc. • Ability to understand and convey business issues and technical concepts • Must be proficient in MS Office, with advanced knowledge of MS PowerPoint • Strong presentation and facilitation skills are required • Solid communication and customer service experience Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Protected Veterans/Disabled
