Description

* High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of experience and education * Two years related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. * Must have excellent oral and written communication skills. * Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and email applications. * Must be able to wear personal protective equipment appropriate for the work environment (e.g. protective footwear, protective eyewear, hearing protection, bump cap, gloves, etc.) in accordance with safety policies. * Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. * Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from associates, managers, regulatory agencies, and the general public. * Ability to speak effectively with individuals at all levels within and external to the company and the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals. * Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. * Ability to compute rate, ration and percent and to generate and interpret graphs. * Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. * Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. * Through compliance (DMS or Corp Compliance) instruction, systematic completion of all associate training and recordkeeping of. Superior organizational skills are critical. * Performing cycle counts daily as assigned. * Investigating inventory discrepancies found through cycle counts and determining root cause of problem. * Pulling slow moving or obsolete inventory as requested by the customer in order to dispose, salvage or donate. This may include physically lifting or moving product or materials. * Processing returned shipments by unloading the trailer and determining what is first quality or damaged inventory. * Ensuring that all proper written documentation is signed off and filed. * Participating and coaching LTO's during physical inventories or samplings as requested by the customer to ensure the integrity of the inventory process. * Identifying and researching unique inventory occurrences to correct them prior to having to lock a bay or make an inventory adjustment. * Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed. * Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate. * Other duties as assigned.
