Academic/ Employed Hand Surgeon
Department of Orthopaedic Surgery & Service Line
Henry Ford Health Department of Orthopaedic Surgery is searching for multiple full-time academic/ employed hand surgery faculty members to join our expanding practice in the southeast region of Michigan, with opportunities in multiple settings ranging from a Level 1 Trauma academic hospital to the Level 3 community hospital setting. Other duties may include teaching and supervision of trainees and students, and scholarly activity. Academic rank and compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) are dependent upon experience and qualifications.
Qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Michigan, 3) be Board certified or eligible in Orthopaedic, Plastic or General Surgery, 4) have completed an ACGME-approved orthopaedic, or plastic surgery residency or its equivalent, and 5) have completed an ACGME-approved hand surgery fellowship or its equivalent.
