This position is responsible for providing assistance to pharmacists and pharmacy coordinators in resolution of claims, pricing, coding. Works with internal departments and external vendors (ex. PBMS) to evaluate and resolve pharmacy related issues. Perform special projects as required or requested.Job Requirements:
* Current Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB, PTCE, ExCPT).
* Bachelors degree in Business or a related health care field OR 4 years paid employment in a pharmacy, health care/insurance industry (or equivalent)
* Customer service experience (member first mindset).
* Drug information knowledge.
* Verbal and written communication skills.
* Proficiency in Excel and MS tool suite.
* Multi-tasking and organizational skills.
Preferred Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree.
* Pharmacy/Medical Benefits, PBM, Specialty/Hospital, Pharmacy/Medication Data, member health information, pharmacy claims history, etc.
* Managed Care
* Excel, SharePoint, Outlook.
* Aerial platform experience.
Hybrid / flexible work arrangement.
Reports into the office 3 days per week
