As a Data Governance Analyst, you will assist in establishing and maintaining data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance across the organization. Your analytical skills and attention to detail will help us maximize the value of our data assets.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Data Quality Assurance: Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across systems.     
• Policy Development: Assist in creating and implementing data governance policies and procedures.    
• Documentation: Maintain documentation for data governance processes and standards.       
• Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to support data-related projects and initiatives.       
• Data Cataloging: Aid in maintaining and updating data catalogs.  
• Compliance Monitoring: Assist in monitoring compliance with data governance regulations and policies.          
• Training and Support: Support and train the business on data governance policies and tools.
• Efficiency: Help create SQL repository for ad-hoc requests.            
• Curiosity: A willingness to continually learn about data governance practices, tools, and emerging trends in the field, especially in AI and ML.        
• Humility: Demonstrates a willingness to listen and learn from others, values team contributions, and embraces feedback for continuous improvement.

• A bachelor's degree in economics, business administration, statistics, compliance, or risk management.
• 4 year's experience with data management, analytics or governance

• Relevant Experience: Internships or projects related to data management, analytics, or governance.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze and interpret data.
• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and detail.
• Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication for collaborating with various stakeholders.
• Technical Skills: Basic understanding of data management tools and techniques (SQL, Python, data visualization software).

• Must be able to perform this job safely in accordance with standard operating procedures and good manufacturing practices, without endangering the health or safety of self or others.
