For the past twelve years, I have been a solo oral surgeon in Granger, IN. My goals in adding a surgeon to my practice are to have more flexibility to travel with my family and find someone with whom I enjoy working and who improves the practice with their unique strengths. Last year I dropped all insurance contracts and still have a very full schedule. The practice is very strong, collecting over 4 million dollars working 4 days per week with over 7 weeks vacation. We have 13 full time team members and a great office environment. Every process in the practice has been dialed in with over 180 standard operating procedures for the team to follow. It is a well oiled machine, ready to grow. The majority of procedures are third molars, implants, extractions and a handful of orthognathics per year. We see some pathology and other things as well. The practice is very contemporary using dynamic navigation for implants, PRF, Exparel, photobiomodulation therapy laser for healing and an intraoral scanner. We have an incredible referral network, working closely with the area's best dentists. Hospital call is light with the option for higher level trauma service at another local hospital. I would welcome someone with any level of experience, as long as they are the right fit. Leading our local Seattle Study Club for nine years has fostered close friendships with many dentists that go beyond work, enriching ours and our families and patients' lives.
My wife and I feel so fortunate to raise our family in this area. The community is amazing. We spend our summers on Lake Michigan and play outdoors in the fall, winter and spring. There are world-class opportunities at The University of Notre Dame or a short drive to Chicago. Compensation is above average and the local cost of living is well below average.
