Job Summary Mirror Controls international (MCi), a Flex company, is the global market leader in mirror glass and power-folding actuators. Currently MCi is expanding its product portfolio to other Automotive actuation solutions such as Active Aerodynamics & Motor cooling management.To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a a skilled and motivated Electronics talented and innovative Process Engineer located in our Woerden, Netherlands site.
The Process Engineer is in charge for process-engineering capabilities focused on cost, quality and delivery improvements in order to hold up a manufacturing organization.
What a typical day looks like:
- Understand manufacturing processes and products.
- Define and evaluate designs for manufacturability.
- Identify root causes of manufacturing failures.
- Engage in daily production and problem-solving.
- Justify and implement capital equipment purchases.
- Oversee new process equipment and engineering change orders (ECOs).
- Establish and maintain process parameters.
- Develop and own process control methodologies.
- Troubleshoot process issues and improve cycle times.
- Evaluate engineered materials and conduct statistical process research.
- Implement safety and productivity improvements.
- Enhance manufacturing techniques and throughput.
- Maintain process documentation and review methods.
- Collaborate on new process implementation and training.
- Provide equipment maintenance and support.
- Lead cost improvement initiatives.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or mechatronics
- Understanding of PLCs
- Lean Six Sigma/DRM Green Belt highly preferred
- Previous position supporting 24/7 production
- Strong Microsoft Office and Excel knowledge
