Job Summary Mirror Controls international (MCi), a Flex company, is the global market leader in mirror glass and power-folding actuators. Currently MCi is expanding its product portfolio to other Automotive actuation solutions such as Active Aerodynamics & Motor cooling management.

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a a skilled and motivated Electronics talented and innovative Process Engineer located in our Woerden, Netherlands site.

The Process Engineer is in charge for process-engineering capabilities focused on cost, quality and delivery improvements in order to hold up a manufacturing organization.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Understand manufacturing processes and products.
  • Define and evaluate designs for manufacturability.
  • Identify root causes of manufacturing failures.
  • Engage in daily production and problem-solving.
  • Justify and implement capital equipment purchases.
  • Oversee new process equipment and engineering change orders (ECOs).
  • Establish and maintain process parameters.
  • Develop and own process control methodologies.
  • Troubleshoot process issues and improve cycle times.
  • Evaluate engineered materials and conduct statistical process research.
  • Implement safety and productivity improvements.
  • Enhance manufacturing techniques and throughput.
  • Maintain process documentation and review methods.
  • Collaborate on new process implementation and training.
  • Provide equipment maintenance and support.
  • Lead cost improvement initiatives.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or mechatronics
  • Understanding of PLCs
  • Lean Six Sigma/DRM Green Belt highly preferred
  • Previous position supporting 24/7 production
  • Strong Microsoft Office and Excel knowledge
