  • Direct flights from Atlanta, Baltimore, Boston, Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Destin, Fort Lauderdale, Houston, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Minneapolis, Miami, Newark, NYC, Orlando, Phoenix, Philadelphia, Salt Lake City, Tampa, St. Petersburg, and Washington, D.C.
Practice Features:
  • Work with well-respected, very successful, financially-sound physician-owned, 33-year-old nerve and muscle testing clinics (9) in a 75-mile radius in western TN and Memphis area. The practice is accredited as exemplary status labs in 7 locations now by AANEM.
  • 6 EMG-boarded doctors. One is a full professor at the University of Tennessee, another did a fellowship at Mayo Clinic, another one was with the University of Pennsylvania, etc. One of their new doctors is a recent past president of the AANEM !
  • Main clinics in Memphis, Jackson, Nashville and Knoxville
  • The nerve and muscle clinics have been in operation for 30 years so they have the protocols, staffing and quality controls to ensure quality EMG's for a large volume of patients; most practices can't provide the same quality results in a timely fashion.
  • Attention to quality is utmost. Patient volume and the narrow focus enables the clinic to have the experience to provide quality services.
  • Stable—been in practice for 30 years.
  • No shortage of patients; 400 referring doctors; have large volumes approaching 10,000 procedures a year. It is true that they perform a lot of EMG's but they are very good at it and they are very efficient. This is all they do.

Responsibilities:
  • See 30 patients/week, do the entire studies by yourself
  • Can be done in 3-4 days/week
  • 8 AM – 5 PM
  • No treatment, only testing
  • A physician sees each patient
Call:
  • No call or nights
Payors:
  • Medicare, Tenncare and participating providers in more than 500 commercial health plans. The practice is a preferred provider with most workers compensation managed care organizations.
Compensation:
  • An estimated amount is $175 per EMG
  • Paid every two weeks
  • If you see 60 patients in two weeks, you would get paid approximately $175 x 60 =$10,500 dollars every two weeks

Candidate Qualifications:
  • Board Certified/Qualified physiatrist, neurologist, etc. with superior EMG skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills and professional appearance
  • A doctor who is unusually friendly, prompt, well-groomed and concerned about patients

Compensation Information:
$15000.0 / Monthly - $15000.0 / Monthly
Details:
Based on the number of EMG's you do. An estimated amount is $175 per EMG. Paid every two weeks. If you see 60 patients in two weeks, you would get paid approximately $175 x 60 =$10,500 dollars every two weeks.
