Length: 13-26 weeks
Call required if called off on a prescheduled shift Requirements:

• NC license
• 1 year experience
• Skills: Administer chemo.
• Experience in an inpatient setting
• Chemotherapy administration certification
• BLS
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• CPI preferred

Others:

• Must pass EKG Testing
• Will accept 1st time travelers
• Will accept travelers that do not currently have the ONC cert
• Will work with oncology as well as medical surgical patients
• Floating required to similar units and alternate care locations with inpatients holding, such as inpatient holding in the ED, or any alternate medical patient care location
• UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication): PYXIS, EPIC, SBAR
• COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline):Not Required
• Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline):Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only

DKA - Insulin drip, AKI, Sepsis, Cancer, Septic shock, Pain, OD, Malignant Neoplasms, ARF, Encephalopathy, FTT, Diabetic foot ulcers, Heparin drips.UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication): PYXIS, EPIC, SBAR.UNIT ORIENTATION: 24 hrs (2 shifts)SCRUBS: Navy Blue and white.*** INTERNAL NOTESMust pass EKG Testing prior to start for this specialty
