Position Summary: 

Our Transportation and Logistics Practice specializes in insurance programs designed for logistics companies both domestically and internationally. Our experienced team of brokers brings an unparalleled level of service and expertise to this evolving niche market. We have an exciting growth opportunity for a highly motivated and entrepreneurial individual to join our team in Chicago, where you will have the opportunity to grow your experience by supporting our Transportation and Logistics team with all aspects of client sales and service.  An account manager in EPIC's Transportation and Logistics team focuses on all Business Insurance policies/lines within the group. Candidate will have strong knowledge of Business Insurance policies and will look to grow our current book of business by cross-selling, marketing current policies, and being point person for producers to send new submissions.

Position responsibilities: 

  • Manage practice's full book of Business Insurance policies
  • Deliver support to sales staff for new applications
  • Pursue opportunities to cross-sell Business Insurance policies
  • Review current policy terms on existing book of business
  • Manage policy endorsements
  • Coordinate the production of client and prospect materials

Experience Requirements: 

  • College Degree
  • 4+ years' experience in a similar role within a Commercial Lines insurance brokerage or agency
  • Required skills
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to form relationships at all levels
    • Close attention to detail and ability to problem solve
    • The ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced while delivering high quality results
    • A client-first and flexible attitude, with a focus on solutions
