Key Responsibilities:
- Perform physical examinations, order tests, determine diagnoses, and develop and implement treatment plans.
- Provide medical and surgical care, including diagnostic evaluations, therapeutic remediation, and pharmaceutical prescriptions.
- Provide patient education regarding care plans, treatment options, and procedures.
- Monitor patient health during follow-up visits and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Keep detailed records of all patient interactions, diagnoses, and treatments.
- Communicate effectively with patients, staff, insurance companies, and physicians, both verbally and in writing.
- Identify opportunities to improve patient care and streamline clinical processes.
- Participate in clinic-wide projects and programs aimed at enhancing patient satisfaction and care quality.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and other regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) with an active license to practice in Wisconsin.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based setting.
- Flexibility to travel between our Wausau and Stevens Point locations for patient care.
